      γ-氨基丁酸(GABA)是中枢神经系统中主要的抑制性神经递质,在多种疾病的病理过程中起着至关重要的作用。GABA从突触前元件释放后,由γ-氨基丁酸转运体(GATs)再摄取从突触间隙中被移除。随着研究的深入,GATs在癫痫、阿尔茨海默病、帕金森病、脑卒中等中枢神经系统疾病中的意义陆续被揭示,其各类抑制药在动物模型中表现出一定的治疗效果。本文就GATs在中枢神经系统疾病中的研究进展进行综述,以期为相关疾病的临床治疗提供新思路。
英文摘要:
      Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) is a major inhibitory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system. It plays a vital role in the pathological process of a variety of diseases. When GABA is released from the presynaptic element, it is removed from the synaptic cleft by GABA transporters (GATs). As the research deepens, the meaning of GATs have been revealed in epilepsy, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, stroke, and other diseases. Gradually, its inhibitors have shown certain therapeutic effects in many animal models. This article reviews the research progress of GATs in central nervous system diseases, in order to provide new ideas for the clinical treatment of related diseases.
