| Perioperative anaphylaxis is a rare but deadly catastrophic event. Recently, the Resuscitation Council UK collaborated with Perioperative Allergy Network steering committee to develop the 2024 emergency treatment of perioperative anaphylaxis: Resuscitation Council UK algorithm for anaesthetists. The guidelines clearly define the definition, clinical manifestations, diagnostic challenges, and treatment principles of perioperative anaphylaxis, highlight the importance of early intravenous adrenaline and fluid resuscitation, providing anaesthetists with a clear and concise diagnosis and treatment plan to make reasonable decisions with respond quickly and effectively when encountering perioperative anaphylaxis, thereby improving furthest patient prognosis. |
