Puerpera suffers from moderate to severe pain after cesarean delivery, which is associated with short-term or long-term adverse outcomes for the mothers and the neonates. At present, it is advocated to adopt a multimode and individualized analgesia management, focusing on the physiology, psychology and social environment of puerpera, so as to ensure a good analgesic effect after cesarean delivery, reduce the use of opioids and decrease opioid-related side effects, enhance maternal recovery and improve maternal overall satisfaction. This article reviews the research progress on pain assessment and multimodal analgesia after cesarean delivery, in order to provide reference for clinical practice. |
