| Sarcopenia, as one of the elderly diseases, has not attracted widespread clinical attention. Sarcopenia is often accompanied by other diseases, which affect the patient's recovery and postoperative outcome. Anesthesiologists should pay attention to the perioperative management of sarcopenia patients. This review summarized the current situation of sarcopenia, the impact of anesthesia on skeletal muscles, and the main points of perioperative anesthesia management, hoping to attract the attention of anesthesiologists. |
